1. Overview

This policy explains what information Fonts Corner collects when you use the Site, why we collect it, how it is used, and what control you have over it. We collect the minimum needed to run the service and we do not sell your personal information.

2. Information You Give Us

Account details. Your name and email address when you register, plus a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Font submissions. Font files and any metadata or contact details you provide when submitting a typeface.
Purchases. If you buy a premium font, order details and a license key. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
Correspondence. Anything you send us directly, such as a support or takedown request.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Download logs. When you download a font we record the font, your account, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. This lets us enforce rate limits, detect abuse, and report accurate download counts to designers.
Usage data. Page views and font view counts, used to power features such as Trending and Most Popular.
Ratings. If you rate a font, we store the score alongside your IP address to prevent duplicate voting.
Analytics. If enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google may set its own cookies; see Google's privacy policy for details.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a small number of browser storage mechanisms:

Session cookie. Required to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. This cannot be disabled without breaking the Site.
Local storage. Used to remember your font comparison list and preview preferences. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics where enabled.

5. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
To deliver font downloads and premium purchases.
To send transactional email — welcome messages, password resets, and purchase receipts.
To enforce download limits and prevent abuse, scraping, and fraud.
To calculate site statistics such as download counts, ratings, and trending scores.
To respond to your questions and legal requests.

We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

Service providers. Payment processors, email delivery services, and hosting providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
Aggregate statistics. Designers may see download and rating totals for their fonts. These are counts only and never include your identity.
Legal obligations. Where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. Data Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Download and rating logs are retained for abuse prevention and statistical purposes. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting obligations. When you delete your account we remove your personal details and disassociate your activity logs.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted connections, rate limiting, and restricted access to stored files. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection — but we take this seriously and act quickly on any issue.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Third-Party Links

Font listings may link to designer websites and external foundries. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
